4th Annual EGGZIBIT Children's Temporary Art Exhibit
The Downtown Peculiar Arts & Culture District eggcitedly presents the 4th Annual Eggzibit. This temporary children's art exhibit can be viewed from April 3rd, 2010 through April 18th, 2010 in downtown Peculiar. Art students from Peculiar Elementary, 4-H Dusty Trails group, local girlscout troops, A+ students, along with some other children from the community will be creating works of art for this year's exhibit.
Some of the eggs that survived the Missouri spring wind, rain and cold from last year's Eggzibit will be included this year as well as the newly created pieces lining Main and Broadway Streets in Downtown Peculiar, MO. Look for them on the ground, in "baskets" and in the trees. About 150 large, egg shaped art pieces will comprise this installation making Downtown a really big, egg basket! This event is the culmination of eggzucation and eggzecution on the part of these young artists. Come stroll down the egg lined streets of Downtown - it will be impossible not to smile!
